Although St Martial is deep in the heart of the French countryside it is surprisingly accessible and Mas de Paul can be reached by car from the channel ports in a day if an early start is made. Car hire will be almost essential when flying and car hire is best arranged in advance, there is lots of choice at all the regional airports. The French high speed train (TGV) serves Montauban (one hour away by car) and Toulouse (75 minutes) from where it is possible to take a connecting train to Laguepie. The Toulouse-Matabiau Station serves as a train station, a bus station and a metro station making it easy to access all forms of transportation, and a regular coach shuttle links the airport to the railway station.
